DicaNote does more than open a blank page. Tap the yellow + button and you get a menu with four create options. This guide covers the basics: which path to use and how to start.

Open the create menu

  1. Open DicaNote.
  2. On the home screen, tap the yellow + (bottom right).
  3. Choose one of the four options.

Tip: not sure? Use Create note. You can still add checklists, attachments, categories, and tags from the bottom bar.

1. Create note (blank)

  1. Tap +.
  2. Choose Create note (Start a blank note).
  3. Type a clear title.
  4. Write the body.
  5. Tap Save (disk icon).

Bottom bar shortcuts: T (text), paperclip (attach), folder (categories), # (tags), related notes, checklist.

2. Note template

  1. Tap +.
  2. Choose Note template.
  3. Pick a template (daily plan, meeting, travel, and so on).
  4. Fill it in and save.

3. To-Do List

  1. Tap +.
  2. Choose To-Do List.
  3. Title the list.
  4. Add items and check them off.
  5. Save.

4. Drawing

  1. Tap +.
  2. Choose Drawing.
  3. Sketch with the drawing tools.
  4. Save.

After you create: categories and tags

  1. Category — folder icon → create or pick a group.
  2. Tags — # → add labels such as urgent or ideas.
  3. Pin — keep important notes at the top of home.

No. The menu offers four paths: blank note, template, to-do list, and drawing.

Where does the new item appear?

Under Notes on the home screen. Pin it if you want it under Pinned.
